English Literacy For Every Child
The Need
Children have a remarkable ability to learn languages and yet in India, English as a language is insufficiently developed in most of the students, especially those in rural and under-privileged schools. Some of the challenges include lack of adequate teaching materials, resources, as well as lack of proper practice. Inadequate student participation and hesitation in learning a new language adds to challenges faced.
Our Vision
WeEducate Foundation has pioneered an innovative, interactive, self-paced English learning program that serves underprivileged children in India. Our unique, personalized program fills the educational gap created by numerous accessibility barriers in urban slums and rural villages.
Our goal is to provide a reformed English language teaching methodology to achieve fluency. Our program puts an emphasis on student-centric learning, practical everyday English skills, and appropriate teaching strategies.
OUR LOCATIONS
Schools and Shelter Homes
Schools
Our schools are located in Delhi and Karnataka, with children attending from neighboring slums. These children have been robbed of their youth, living on less than one dollar per day. Through our programs at our partner schools, we can provide them an education that they previously would not have been able to experience, and thereby taking them out of poverty, towards a better future.
Shelter Homes
Our shelter homes are currently located in West Bengal, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Cambodia, with a goal to expand globally. Shelter Homes typically have limited resources, but through our programs, we can provide our students with life-changing opportunities and resources.

Interactive Virtual Learning
Effective App-based learning
Our program is taught using a blended learning approach, utilizing an interactive English literacy software program which focuses on teaching English language skills. The program is self-paced, tracks student progress, and provides instant performance feedback, allowing learning to be autonomous and customized to each child’s individual pace.
empowering Local teachers
We believe that one of the most important and sustainable catalysts for change are the teachers. Our program empowers teachers by providing a clear, data-driven map of a student’s progress, including their strengths and areas of improvement. Through our on-boarding program, teacher training, and additional resources provided to supplement English learning, we empower teachers to succeed.
U.S. Support and oversight
Our talented U.S. team provides online teaching using interactive and non-traditional techniques. Alongside that, they supply analysis, feedback and guidance based on the student’s performance results. Via regular check-ins and continuous mentoring, the team customizes the teaching program based on the needs and requirements of each location.
