ABOUT

WeEducate Foundation (WEF)

The WeEducate Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 82‑3158938) on a bold mission to unlock the power of education for underprivileged youth and trafficked girls across India, Nepal, and Cambodia. Guided by the belief that language is a gateway to opportunity, the Foundation brings interactive e‑learning and engaging English education into under‑resourced schools, slum communities, and shelter homes helping students find their voice, expand their horizons, and build confidence through language.

The story began in 2017 when Madhvi Pratt, a lifelong champion of English literacy and expanded access to education, transformed her passion into purpose by founding WeEducate Foundation to make education both accessible and engaging for diverse communities.

WeEducate English Language Learning Program was founded with a mission to provide valuable resources and technology to facilitate English language learning. The main purpose is to teach proper, everyday Conversational English to underserved youth in India.

WeEducate Foundation has pioneered an innovative, interactive, self-paced English language learning program that serves underprivileged children in India, Nepal, and Cambodia. Our unique, personalized program fills the educational gap created by numerous accessibility barriers in shelter homes, urban slums and rural villages.

Our goal is to provide a reformed English language teaching methodology to achieve fluency. Our program emphasizes student-centered learning, practical everyday English skills, and effective teaching strategies.

Bela Khetan

Teacher

My name is Bela Khetan. I have been an early educator for 22 years. After years of classroom teaching, I became a small business owner, coach and mentor for early educators. I am passionately involved in advocacy work in the early education field to educate policy makers about the importance of the early education and how the policies affect the field of education.

While I coach and mentor other educators, I am actively involved in online education and curriculum planning. It has been a soulful journey being a part of WeEducate’s core team and teaching the most vulnerable children of society. I am not only teaching them but learning the true meaning of resilience and value of life.

Come join us and contribute to this cause in whatever way you can!
